The parish of Santa Maria delle Grazie, on the Naviglio Grande, organizes the typical Nativity of the waterway, a work conceived, designed and built by designer Luciano Bartoli. The stage design, animated, three-dimensional, 7 feet wide and 4 high, reproduces the typical environment of the district, in which the courtyard becomes the metaphorical transposition of the Cave of Bethlehem. It is placed on a platform floating on the Naviglio Grande, just across from the Church of Santa Maria delle Grazie to the waterway, and is visible from 12 December 2010 until 10 January 2011.
